DFN Alternately, is it like an annuity whereby the "principal" (its stock price) would eventually be exhausted by its distributions if not for new offerings?

DFN I wonder if DFN distributions are truly derived from dividends received from its stock holdings, or is it perhaps a type of pyramid scheme that requires new issues to maintain its distributions?
