The fund is a portfolio of the advisors highest convictions for US equity securities for capital appreciation and income. Using fundamental research for quality and value characteristics, half of the portfolio holds long stock positions. On this half of the portfolio, out-of-the-money calls are written. The remaining half of the portfolio remains in cash to collateralized near-the-money put option writing strategy. The option writing strategies are geared towards generating income or providing a small hedge for acquiring equity positions.
