The fund uses multiple sub-advisers to manage the fund, each focusing on an area of expertise in evaluating potential opportunities in the infrastructure space. Infrastructure companies are engaged in constructing, servicing, or operating a broad range of services needed in a community, such as: transportation, energy, water, telecommunications, hospitals, schools, and prisons. The fund may invest a significant portion of assets outside of North America and companies of any market capitalization. The fund was given an exemption to use derivatives for hedging and/or to gain exposure. In addition, the fund was granted an exemption that permits the fund to hold up to 10% of its asset in Commodity ETFs to gain exposure to physical commodities. The fund may also enter into securities lending transactions to generate additional income.
