The ETF invests exclusively in TELUS Corp. (TSX: T) and employs an active covered call writing strategy. TELUS Corp provides telecommunications and information technology products in Canada. The ETF aims to provide long-term capital appreciation and high monthly cash distributions, using leverage up to 25% of portfolio assets and selling calls on up to half of the portfolio. The upside potential is capped based on the call options written and may result on a drag on the portfolio in a rising market.
