The fund actively invests primarily in a portfolio of investment-grade government debt securities from developed markets including US, Canada, and Europe. In seeking long-term total returns, the fund may also hold other debt instruments across the credit spectrum such as cash, investment-grade and high-yield corporate debt, futures, convertible debentures and credit derivatives with certain limitations. The portfolio will consist of at least 50% government debt at all times, whilst high-yield corporate bonds cannot exceed 25%. Allocation and maturity is at the discretion of the manager specially during sluggish market periods. The fund is designed for investors with a low risk appetite who are seeking steady cash flow from a diversified portfolio delivering efficient exposure to the potential of developed government debt obligations.
