เริ่มต้นที่ราคาพุ่งแรงแท่งเขียวยาวมีความผันผวนสูง หลังจากนั้นความผันผวนก็ลดลงการแกว่งของราคาค่อยๆแคบลงแคปลงไปเรื่อยๆ ขณะเดียวกันนั้นปริมาณการซื้อขายก็แห้งตามการแกว่งที่แคบลง แบบนี้น่าสนใจมากว่ามันจะทำตัวตรงตามตำราที่ว่าไว้หรือไม่
