There is a reduced unrest in the bond markets this afternoon, causing the stock markets to skyrocket. Investors are flocking to equities, supported by the further decline in bond yields. 10-year drops by 5 basis points in the US and by 10 to 20 basis points in many European countries. Furthermore: The Reserve Bank of Australia raised its rate by 25 points to 2.6%, against an expected increase to 2.85%. Previously, the rate had been hiked by 50 points four times since June. The same decision was also predicted by the market this time.
The Dollar is sinking sharply. It seems that the currency unit is looking for the way down. This can be seen in different pairs.
#EURUSD: the down trend of this pair remains in tact. The Euro is much weaker than the Dollar. Our sell trade has been adjusted at 0.98348.
#USDCHF : an alert placed on 50% Fib retreasment on 0.97387.
#EURGBP: it is not the most favorite pair but here an up-trend is starting to emerge. Buy deposited at 0.87807.
Gold : is quite on the rise. We expect gold to tilt again at 1803.41.
#GBPUSD : just like yesterday, the Pound manages to keep level, so we move our sell trade to 1.12238.
EURCAD : again the sell shifted to 1.33804
GBPNZD : sell again shifted to 1.96996. This pair remains dangerous in connection with new zealand's interest rate decision.
