#016: CHF/JPY Long Investment Opportunity
Today I want to show you this long investment opportunity by placing a BUY LIMIT order on CHF/JPY. Hello, I'm Forex Trader Andrea Russo, an independent trader and prop trader with $200,000 in capital under management. Thank you in advance for your time.
The CHF/JPY pair is building an extremely interesting technical pattern, which could offer one of the best risk-controlled long opportunities in recent weeks.
🧠 Advanced Structural Analysis
After an orderly sequence of lower highs, the price recently completed a bearish move that looks more like directional manipulation than a true breakout.
Three key elements support this hypothesis:
- Final compression on decreasing volume
- Visible divergence between relative strength and price movement
- Volume clusters interrupted in the lower zone, with the LVN area still empty and devoid of institutional liquidity
🔍 The hunting zone is already active
According to our studies, the price is exactly within the so-called "stop hunting zone," a range between technical and psychological levels where:
- Retail traders are closing long positions at a loss
- Breakout traders are entering short positions late
- Market makers are accumulating passively, exploiting market emotion
Historically, these zones herald strong reversals if defended by banks' protective orders.
🔄 Multi-Timeframe Confluence
All higher timeframes (4H, 8H, and Daily) show a consistent picture of active cyclical support, with a potential harmonic pattern nearing completion and a technical structure that coincides with previous levels of institutional reaction.

📌 NOTE – Market Context Update
We’ve seen the daily candle close above the weekly 50 EMA, which suggests bullish intent... BUT 🧠⚠️
Let’s stay mindful — price is currently testing a major higher time frame level, and with 4 trading days left in the week, there’s still room for a rejection from the weekly 50 EMA.
🔍 Be smart with longs — don’t get caught chasing. Personally, I’ll be waiting for a 15-min BOS from my initial level to confirm intent. 🎯
📉 If price breaks back below the weekly 50 EMA, I’ll switch bias to shorts — then wait for a pullback to structure for continuation down.
Let the market show its hand. Stay sharp and trade what you see, not what you want to see. 🧘♂️📊
Here’s a short diagnosis of the current chart setup 🧠📈
Higher time frame order blocks have been identified — these are our patient points of interest 🎯🧭.
It’s crucial to wait for a confirmed break of structure 🧱✅ before forming a directional bias.

#017: GBP/CHF Short Investment Opportunity
In recent days, GBP/CHF has exhibited typical distribution market behavior: a gradual rise, supported by bullish retail, toward a key technical resistance zone. Hello, I'm Forex Trader Andrea Russo, an independent trader and prop trader with $200,000 in capital under management. Thank you in advance for your time.
Multi-timeframe analysis reveals an interesting picture for a targeted short trade, with technical, sentiment, and intermarket factors all pointing in the same direction.
Technical Context
On the 8-hour chart, the price is moving in the upper part of a mature bullish channel. The current area coincides with an institutional supply zone that has been tested several times in the past, with marked bearish reactions.
At this point, bullish momentum loses strength, while short moving averages appear overextended relative to their period average, a condition that often precedes a return to the mean.
Retail Sentiment and Contrarian Approach
Data aggregated from multiple sources (MyFxBook, FXSSI, FXBlue) show a clear prevalence of long positions among retail traders.
Following the contrarian logic typical of banks and hedge funds, a market with a strong retail bias becomes more vulnerable to movements in the opposite direction, especially if it is in a sensitive technical zone.
Relative Strength and Intermarket
Currency strength indices point to a moderately strong British pound and a Swiss franc poised to strengthen in risk-off environments.
If the GBP weakens against other pairs (such as GBP/USD) or the CHF strengthens against correlated crosses (such as USD/CHF), selling in GBP/CHF may accelerate rapidly.
Stop-Loss Hunting Zone
The price is near the top of an area where numerous stop-loss orders from early sellers are concentrated. It's common for institutional traders to push the price slightly beyond these levels to generate the liquidity needed to trigger the real move.
This behavior is often followed by a sharp reversal in the opposite direction, fueled by the forced closing of the weakest longs.

#015: USD/CHF SHORT Investment OpportunityHello readers, I'm Forex Trader Andrea Russo, and today I'd like to share this SHORT investment opportunity I've identified in the USD/CHF pair.
In recent days, USD/CHF has exhibited typical technical exhaustion behavior near key dynamic resistance. The area between 0.81300 and 0.81650 represented a significant supply zone, previously tested with an extended spike and immediately rejected.
The price violated the 200 EMA with an apparent breakout, but without real institutional volume to support the move. This was followed by a rapid retracement below the mean and a sideways movement, suggesting ongoing manipulation and liquidity building.
Meanwhile, global retail sentiment shows a significant anomaly: over 70% of retail traders are long. This imbalance increases the likelihood that market makers are preparing a bearish reversal to target the most fragile positions and restore equilibrium.
The 0.81420 level has been identified as a key point for a possible price reversion to the manipulative zone before the actual directional move. If the price reverts to this level, a technical spike is likely to be executed to complete the hunt for stops before the downtrend begins.
The trade targets a decline towards the 0.80000 area, which represents the first significant level of technical support and a realistic target if the reversal is confirmed.
Potential bearish drop?USD/CHF has reacted off the sell entry, which is a pullback resistance, and could drop from this level to our take profit.
Entry: 0.8067
Why we like it:
There is a pullback resistance.
Stop loss: 0.8118
Why we like it:
There is a pullback resistance.
Take profit: 0.7951
Why we like it:
There is a pullback support level that is slightly below the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement.
