NATURAL GAS Breakdown OpportunityHi!
NATGAS is pretty bearish, reading about a warm December, at least in the US, and overproduction. (reading headlines at naturalgasintel.com).
So, I'm expecting price to break down at the test of this trendline, which could be a good opportunity to SHORT on this one.
Have a great week ahead, and please comment if you have something good to add.
Best Regards,
ThomChris
NATURAL GAS BEARISH OUTLOOKThe recent surge of warm fronds impacting the United States, the largest consumer of natural gas, shows no signs of dissipating soon, exerting significant pressure on its market. This has led to a substantial decline in the price of the gas, plummeting for eight consecutive days from 2.841 to 2.375, marking a staggering drop of over 16%.
Technical indicators are not signaling an imminent reversal of this trend in the short term, as both the MACD and RSI exhibit robust Sell signals. Should the current trajectory persist, there's a possibility that the price could dip to support levels around 2.124.
A potential pivot point at 2.405 might be considered, potentially leading to a price rebound to 2.712.

NATTY 15% Correction on the way?Natural Gas has recorded a negative bearish divergence on the 4hr which I believe is the sign of a correction to retest the green base below.
It had fired on all of it's cylinders yesterday which I believe was a dead cat bounce removing as many short sellers as possible.
Shorting this time of year usually means commission from your broker - mine is offering 3% of my total investment.
Natural Gas - Keylevels - DailyNatural Gas remains in a downward trend, we are getting closer to winter, and demand will increase.
Why doesn't the price increase more?
Or...why doesn't the price increase according to your expectations?
Simple..
The story of the war has calmed down and the FUD on prices has decreased and in addition to that, the main factor is that in several countries in EUROPE, the price of gas is capped, so that regardless of demand and supply, the price on the bill remains the same .
My opinion is that if this winter we see Natural Gas between 4-6 dollars, it would be advisable to mark our profits and wait for next year.
NATURAL GAS EXPECTED HIGH VOLATILITY WITH BULLISH TENDENCIESThe ongoing conflict in the Middle East involving Israel, Hamas, and Iran, is having a potential impact on global energy markets. The conflict is complex, with deep-rooted historical and political dimensions, and has the potential to escalate, affecting regional stability. Geopolitical tensions in oil-producing regions can disrupt global energy markets, leading to price spikes and volatility in oil and gas prices. US energy policies, including decisions on domestic oil production and international relations with oil-producing nations, can influence global energy markets as well. That situation creates conditions for high volatility in the natural gas prices, with more tendency to bullish outcome.
If the bullish tendencies continue, the price might reach its resistance level at 3.394. In the opposite scenario, the price might revert to 3.271.

NATGAS on a verge of a significant correction?Interesting development reaction from the top arc over the past 6 months and I'll be taking a punt myself on this one, especially since most brokers are paying out for traders to sell $NATGAS. My broker is paying out c3% and I wouldn't mind a piece of that.
SL is tight with a huge potential gain of 5.7/1 .
The most recent corrections from the top of the arc have been between 10-12 days which would take us to the 16th of October.
You can see an extremely strong bearish divergence on the 4hr chart, as well as the daily which usually means that consolidation is soon under way.
Recession will undoubtedly will take place at some point in the near future which usually means commodities heading down due to low demand.
This is not trading advice, but I'm extremely excited to see this unfold.
Cheers,
Sky
+90% Natural GasIs natural gas a good stock to buy?
When investing in natural gas stocks, it is important to look for companies with good financial stability, and a strong history of profitability. Natural gas stocks can be a good investment for stock market investors. This is because natural gas prices are expected to continue to rise in the future.
Natural gas will go higher! So, we are back with another trend analysis and new support/resistance levels.
We have had a major pullback from our latest resistance level of 3 back to around 2.8~. Which is fine, its natural.
But I still strongly believe in a major bull run and upside in natural gas, which is why I believe we have to go higher, and we will in the last 2 quarters of 2023.
We have resistance level around 3.3~ - this was tested back in October/November 2020 and most recent around January 2023. This is my first target price (TP 1).
What happens after this is hard to guess at this point of time.
Will we have another energy crisis? What about the war in Ukraine and Russia? My best guess is that we will go higher after reaching 3.3 – but only time will tell.
Let me know what you guys think!
Good luck!
#NatGas UpdateUpon closer examination of the near-term wave subdivisions, I call back the statement that initial wave (a) of the remaining 2023 uptrend might be complete and replace it with a diagonal.
Again, I have to cautiously mention that such projections are very speculative at this stage. I shall be ready to alter my view at any point if I receive new information.
Natural Gas bullish move!Big move down today!
But! i still believe we have a potential huge upside.
We could go a little lower to a support level around 2.5~
but we should go up over the coming week(s).
I expect a target price around 2.7~ and after that, another move upwards towards 3~.
lets see what happens!
Good luck!
Natural Gas - BullishWith the current clima, demand for natural gas for AC-cooling, there is a good foundation for a bullish move in Natural Gas.
1. Lets see a move upwards to the 2.8
2. Maybe a slight pullback
3. And then the big move towards the 3-3.05 level
Also bakced by the fact that Buffet have bought into LNG so lets see if the trend can hold.
Good lucK!
Natural Gas - KeyLevels for next WeekIf you wanna take a trade on NATURAL GAS, maybe before that, you need to conisder this KeyLevels of support and resistance areas.
Careful with shorts until on daily is bullish / upptrend + August and september is coming , when de big companies refreshes their stocks for the winter
NatGas UpdateI believe the leading diagonal wave (a) has ended, and we are now in wave (b), which can take various forms (including the possibility that it has already ended). I suggested a few possible paths.
Once there is a pattern or a mature wave count in wave (b), I can make an assumption when exactly the next leg up will occur.
Natural Gas Critical LevelsNatural gas, which fell sharply from $ 6.5 to $2 is trying to recover again.
During this process, critical levels were determined. These levels appear at $2.10, $3.50 and $5.50.
As long as it does not fall below the $2.10 level, I can say that the $3.50 targeted buying opportunity in natural gas continues.
Where is NATTY going next?Huge sell of occurred after breaking it's previous support, turned resistance.
I'd be looking to buy of the resistance @ around 2.050 with the aim of it reaching the broken support.
If it finds resistance there then we might see a H&S pattern emerge which could be severely bloody.
With recession peaking over the corner, this could well play out.
Just my thoughts, not trading advice . Trade at your own risk. NATTY can be expensive .
