7 Mindset Checks for Trading Success in 2025!Are You Psychologically Ready to Be a Trader? 🎯
As we step into the New Year, it's the perfect time to reflect on whether you're truly prepared to take on the world of trading. Here’s a checklist to assess your mindset and psychological readiness for the challenges ahead.
1️⃣ Do You Get Angry When You Lose?
If you tend to get upset over a lost game or seek revenge, trading might amplify those emotions. With money at stake, it's easy to blame external factors like the news, politics, or distractions for a losing trade.
But here's the truth: losses are part of the process. Successful traders embrace losses as learning opportunities and focus on the next profitable setup instead of dwelling on the past.
Remember: Revenge trading is a trap. The market doesn’t cause losses—you do. Instead of seeking revenge, take responsibility, learn, and move forward.
“The best fighter is never angry.” – Lao Tzu
2️⃣ Do You Think You’re Always Right?
Ego is a trader's biggest enemy. Trading isn’t about being right or wrong—it’s about making money.
If your ego drives your decisions, you might overestimate your abilities, skip your trading plan, and take unnecessary risks. Stay humble and let the market teach you.
Ego-filled traders may call themselves analysts or influencers, but true traders prioritize discipline over arrogance.
3️⃣ Do You Fasten Your Seatbelt Every Time You Drive?
Wearing a seatbelt is a simple yet critical risk management habit. Similarly, in trading, risk management is everything.
Professional traders focus on controlling risk, not chasing rewards. Trading without a stop loss is like driving without a seatbelt—one mistake can ruin everything.
Remember: the market can go anywhere. Be prepared for every outcome.
4️⃣ Are You a Follower?
Successful traders carve their own paths. Blindly copying others’ strategies or trades on social media undermines your independence.
You chose trading to be your own boss—embrace that responsibility. Develop and trust your own trading plan, tailored to your goals, personality, and style.
“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.” – Jim Rohn
5️⃣ Can You Wait for the Green Traffic Light?
Patience is a cornerstone of trading success. Waiting for the right setup and following your plan with discipline ensures long-term profitability.
Self-discipline isn’t innate—it’s built over time. Commit to your plan, refine your strategy, and trust the process.
“The market pays you to be disciplined.”
6️⃣ Are You Committed to Long-Term Goals?
Just as a long-term relationship or fitness journey requires dedication and focus, so does trading. Jumping from one strategy to another only leads to inconsistency.
If your strategy is profitable, stick with it. Master it. Repetition and consistency turn your strategy into a money machine.
Successful trading is supposed to be boring. Embrace the grind.
7️⃣ Do You Finish Your Popcorn Before the Movie Starts?
If patience isn’t your strength, trading might test you. Most of your time as a trader is spent waiting—for setups, for trades to play out, and for profits to materialize.
“The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.” – Warren Buffett
📚 The Takeaway
Trading isn’t just about charts and strategies—it’s a test of your psychology, discipline, and patience.
As we welcome the New Year, let’s focus on improving not just our trading skills but also our mindset. A strong foundation in trading psychology leads to better decision-making and long-term success.
Work on your human psychology, develop your risk management, and commit to the journey. Remember, successful traders are made, not born.
Here’s to a successful and prosperous trading year ahead! 🎉
You’ve got this! Let’s make 2025 your best trading year yet.

LTC/EUR CoinbaseCould this be as simple as a 5 wave pattern ? The worst case of this possible wave 4 is that we keep declining until €207 ($250) and then a possible upside to pass its Coinbase all time high of €350 ($422) and possibly rise to between €380-400 ($460-485) or am I being too optimistic it hahah ? I would love to see the OG Litecoin smash its ATH! I would love to get peoples opinions on this ! I am only starting to get into looking at charts so I welcome any pointers, criticism or opinions that others have !!
Happy Trading peeps !
XAUUSD / Channel This is probably by far the best example of what a channel looks like.
A channel means, price could break up, which means we'd be able to get into a LONG position or it could mean it breaks down, which would indicate we jump into a SHORT position.
OANDA:XAUUSD is extremely volatile .
Volatile - Adjective
1. liable to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse.
"The market is becoming extremely volatile"
As you can see, this channel was indeed broken 16th November 11:00pm AEST when the price broke down over 2700 Pips. Where price stopped and rejected from 1865.xx and quickly rose back up into the channel again.
Pip - Acronym
1. Percentage in point(s)
"The market dropped 2700 pips!"
From what we can see and clearly identify in this chart tutorial is that 1865 is a price that's been visited and rejected from multiple times. Meaning a lot of big buy orders from Banks, Liquidity Pools and other firms are buying gold.
If we see a pull back or rejection at 1885 or the bottom of the channel: Bottom Black Line then we can confidently risk a trade to the middle of the channel 1892 ( Dotted black line ) or top of the channel, Upper Black Line. You can see the dotted line marked where it's been a price that's respected and disrespected, so if you did enter a position to LONG from the bottom, you could set your stoploss above your entry and ride it further if it shows price moving higher and move your TP to the top of the channel. If you see price starting to pull back you can either manually close your position or move your TP a little closer.
Right now, price is expected to fall and break the channel again. But we shall see what price does. Lock and load.
It's not about getting every pip, it's about making sure you're safely securing the positions you've analyzed continuously.
If you want more tutorials or would like me to do a video, show a thumbs up, throw a comment. Let me know.
I do enjoy constructive feedback.
Bitcoin Short-term analysis for upcoming daysWhat is your price target for 01 December 2018 on Bitcoin?
Please answer in the comment section with exact price what you expect.
Several facts to make a decision:
1. Price located at 5600 support level (5300-5500 Bitmex/Bitstamp).
This zone was short-term reversal zone for October-November in 2017.
2. Now candlesticks show hammer pattern in this support range.
3. RSI located at 1184 daily low (more that 3 years), so its extremely oversold now. So this allows me to think that we can wait for RSI rebound at least for 40 level.

Today's Lesson (#4) : Adjusting the leverage to volatilityIn this educational content video I had to cover one the biggest noob trader mistake, trading with too much leverage.
That's basically what flushes out almost 80% of the noobs. Getting the margin call, putting more money into trading than you initially expexted.
All of this is well known as gambling problems. And the recent flow of beginners who went to the markets with hopes of easy gains, most are now feeling the painful experiment of what the market is doing to fools.
So I hope you'll learn something important today with that lesson. Cause if you don't, then you'll probably have to learn it the hard ways later...
altCoin recovery season - go NEO, kick some asses! After the huge altCoin sell of most of them will recover to new ATH soon.
BTC is moving sideways, most likely until the 25th of October when people start to realize, there is no free money, since Bitcoin Gold will be worthless ... Bitcoin Gold holder will exchange again real BTC . This will let Bitcoin Gold tank hard. Some ppl will cash out that BTC to real FIAT money. This will cause another price drop for BTC .
Trust me, I want it that way!
