Nvidia-Backed AI Startup n8n Raises $180M at $2.5B Valuation
Nvidia (NVDA, Financials) backed startup n8n has raised $180 million in new funding, valuing the Berlin-based automation company at $2.5 billion as investors bet on the growing use of AI agents across industries.
The Series C round was led by Accel, with participation from Meritech, Redpoint, Evantic, Visionaries Club, and Nvidia's NVentures. Existing investors including Sequoia, Felicis Ventures, Highland Europe, and HV Capital also took part. The new capital brings n8n's total funding to about $240 million.
Founded in 2019 by Jan Oberhauser, n8n builds no-code automation tools that let users link apps like Slack, Google Docs, and in-house systems through a simple drag-and-drop interface. Its platform connects to AI models from multiple providers including Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI giving companies flexibility without locking into a single ecosystem.
Oberhauser said that approach gives n8n an edge as the AI agent market heats up. Earlier this week, OpenAI introduced AgentKit, a toolkit for developers to create their own agents, adding new competition to the space. But investors see that as validation. OpenAI's move will likely expand the market and drive demand for platforms like n8n, said Accel partner Ben Fletcher.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its enterprise footprint and develop deeper AI integrations.
