Inventurus Knowledge IPO: Issue fully subscribed on day 1; QIBs march ahead

The IPO of Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-backed Inventurus Knowledge Solutions gained momentum in the afternoon on December 12, with its issue being fully subscribed on the opening day. Stock exchange data revealed that investors bid for 1.2 crore shares against the 1.03 crore shares available.

QIBs garnered pace after picking up 1.5 times the portion reserved for them, outpacing the retail investors' portion that was subscribed 1.2 times. Employee quota was booked 48 percent of the portion set aside for them.

The Rs 2,498-crore public offer a is a book-built issue, offering a total of 1.88 crore shares, entirely as an offer for sale. The allotment of shares for the IPO is expected to be finalised on December 17, with a tentative listing date on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) scheduled for December 19. The company will not receive any proceeds from the offer, with all proceeds (net of offer-related expenses) being directed to the selling shareholders.

Promoters of the company include Sachin Gupta, Rekha Jhunjhunwala, Aryaman Jhunjhunwala Discretionary Trust, Aryavir Jhunjhunwala Discretionary Trust, and Nishtha Jhunjhunwala Discretionary Trust.
