South Korea's Lee says new union rules target better cooperation between unions and companies

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said on Friday new union rules passed by parliament were intended to promote cooperation between unions and companies, brushing off concerns among businesses.

Lee, who has expressed support for the bill that will expand protection for subcontracted workers, is expected to sign it into law.
