Job cuts are part of the solution to address overcapacity, IG Metall says

More than 35,000 job cuts in Germany are part of the solution to address overcapacity at Volkswagen VOW plants, union IG Metall's lead negotiator Thorsten Groeger said at a news conference after record-long wage talks.

The job cuts would be done in a socially responsible manner, he added.
