Ubtech Robotics rises on securing $4.2 million robot contract

** Shares of Chinese humanoid robot maker Ubtech Robotics Corp 9880 rise 5.3% to HK$140.8, on track for the biggest one-day pct gain since September 17

** Stock is the second-biggest pct gainer on Hang Seng sub-index tracking information technology firms (.HSCIIT), which is up 1.3%

** Ubtech said it has signed a procurement contract with Miracle Automation Engineering 002009 for Walker S series industrial humanoid robots for a total of 30 mln yuan ($4.21 mln)

** Says the delivery is scheduled to complete by end of 2025

** YTD, Ubtech stock up 154.6%, Hang Seng Tech Index HHSTECH up 40.7%
