GA2F Trend Engine (ITE)

54
📈 Volatility-Based Trend Direction Indicator (ATR)

GA2F Trend Engine (ITE) is a trend-following indicator designed to identify market direction changes using adaptive volatility logic based on the Average True Range (ATR).

The indicator does not attempt to predict the market.

Its purpose is to help traders align with confirmed price direction and avoid unnecessary noise during ranging conditions.

⚙️ How it works

The indicator combines

ATR-based volatility calculation
Dynamic stop levels built from price extremes
Direction change confirmation at candle close

A signal is generated only when a directional change is confirmed, helping to filter false signals and unstable market movements.

🟢🔴 Signal

🟢 Buy Signal
Triggered when the market direction switches from bearish to bullish after candle close confirmation.
🔴 Sell Signal
Triggered when the market direction switches from bullish to bearish after candle close confirmation.

⚠️ No repaint after bar confirmation.

⏱️ Recommended Timeframes
GA2F Trend Engine is optimized for structured timeframes:

✅ M15 / M30 – clean intraday trend trading
✅ H1 – strong balance between signal quality and frequency
⚠️ Very low timeframes may produce more noise

🧠 Usage Guidelines

Use the indicator as a directional filter
Trade only in the direction of the active signal
Take Profit and Stop Loss should be managed manually
Can be combined with session timing or market structure (optional)

🔔 Alerts
