Volume Rate of Change (VROC) IndicatorThe Volume Rate of Change (VROC) is a momentum-based indicator designed to measure the percentage change in trading volume over a specified period. It provides insights into market activity by showing how the current volume compares to past volume levels. This can help traders identify spikes or drops in activity, which may signal potential price reversals, breakouts, or trends.
LOGICS:
Positive values indicate increasing volume compared to the past, suggesting growing interest or momentum.
Negative values indicate decreasing volume, signaling reduced market participation or fading trends.
Formula:
VROC = [(Current Volume - (Volume n Period Ago) / Volume n Period Ago] * 100
