Smart Inversed Fair Value Gap (iFVG) Indicator
Overview
This indicator is a comprehensive trading tool designed to identify high-probability market setups by integrating three core concepts: Inversed Fair Value Gaps (iFVGs), deep liquidity analysis, and FVG-based price deliverance. It provides traders with a multi-faceted view of the market, highlighting key areas of interest where institutional order flow may be shifting.
The script is built to be highly customizable, allowing you to tailor its appearance and detection parameters to fit your specific trading style and chart setup. An on-screen information panel keeps you informed of the indicator's status across multiple timeframes without cluttering your chart.

Key Features
  • Inversed Fair Value Gaps (iFVG) Detection: The primary feature is the identification of iFVGs. An iFVG is a standard Fair Value Gap that is quickly invalidated or "disrespected" by price action, suggesting that the initial impulsive move lacked strength and a reversal may be imminent. The indicator draws these zones directly on your chart and can trigger alerts upon confirmation.

  • Advanced Liquidity Analysis: The script automatically identifies and plots crucial buyside (BSL) and sellside (SSL) liquidity levels based on swing points.

    - Major vs. Minor Levels: It differentiates between major and minor liquidity levels based on the significance of the price swing.

    - Relative Equal Highs/Lows (REQH/REQL): Automatically detects and marks closely-spaced swing points as a single, more significant liquidity pool.

    - Raided Levels: Visually distinguishes between untouched (unraided) and traded-through (raided) liquidity levels, with separate styling for each.
    .
  • FVG Deliverance Engine: This unique feature checks for price "deliverance" after an iFVG is confirmed. It monitors if price subsequently trades into a standard Fair Value Gap within a user-defined lookback period. This confluence can act as a powerful confirmation signal, indicating that the market has repriced efficiently before continuing in the direction signaled by the iFVG. This mechanism is powered by an integrated FVG detection module adapted from LuxAlgo's public work.

  • Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Dashboard: Monitor the status of iFVGs on your current chart plus up to three higher timeframes simultaneously via the information table. This allows you to quickly assess higher-timeframe bias and confluence without leaving your primary chart.

  • Highly Customizable Interface: Nearly every visual aspect of the indicator can be modified, including colors, line styles, border widths, and label visibility for all iFVGs and liquidity levels.

  • On-Chart Information Table: A clean, collapsible table at the bottom of your chart provides a summary of key settings and real-time status, including the liquidity timeframe, FVG deliverance status, and iFVG presence across all monitored timeframes.

How to Use

The power of this indicator lies in combining its signals to build a trading thesis. Here is a potential thought process:
  1. Identify an iFVG: A bearish iFVG (colored red by default) forms, indicating a failure of buyers to sustain a move up. This serves as an initial signal that the market may be poised to move lower.

  2. Look for Deliverance: Following the iFVG, watch for price to rally into a standard bullish FVG zone. If this occurs (confirmed by the "Deliverance: true" status in the info table), it suggests the market has efficiently delivered price to sellers at a premium.

  3. Target Liquidity: The logical target for a potential short entry would be the nearest significant sellside liquidity (SSL or Major SSL) level plotted by the indicator.

By waiting for the confluence of an iFVG, subsequent price deliverance, and a clear liquidity target, a trader can identify and execute on high-probability setups.
