Let me break down how I made $535 in two hours:
I entered buys at 9:00 PM CST after noticing strong bullish momentum building since around 7:00 PM. As soon as I got in, price formed a lower high (5m tf), went into a drawdown, and started chopping, but I held my position. By 9:30 PM, a higher low formed. Once I saw that the price didn’t return to the previous low, I knew I was solid.
Price pushed into a higher high at 10:35 PM. My goal was $500, but I got greedy and moved my TP to $800, thinking it would explode… and nope. Huge red candles on the 5-minute chart took me back into a drawdown. I held through it, noticed another higher low on the 5m, and kept my buys. By 12:30 AM CST, it played out. Ended the night with $535.
Moral of the story: don’t get greedy.
Also, like I said in my previous post, the market will build up during Asia and London ahead of FOMC for another fall. And right now… it’s doing exactly that. So yeah, I called it.
US100 Since the last 6, 4-hour candle order flow today is Net Bullish (+1.41K CVD in the last 4hour candle):
My Bias is still Bullish.
possible spike below into 25550 area before a rally back, currently no sign of weakness in orderflow.
If price dips but the CVD stays positive (above 1K),will be targetting 26252, if it starts going negative, i will await a pullback into support to take longs.
could be wrong, just depends how hawkish J Powell is tomorrow. if its a dovish speach, we will rip to ATH this week but unlikely to be dovish.
NDQ likely everyones stops will get blown tomorrow, but anyone looking to go short, dont be fooled into closing out early after one or two hundred points, if it starts going your way. If no rate cut, id be looking at 24k again. With rate cut, could possibly still end up there, but just a lot slower, or maybe only go as far as 25k. But Id expect an intial spike to 26.
Ive learned this too: The market has a long stgretch where it hardly does anyhting. But then it suddenly MOVES. Meanwhile you have got used to/complacent/content with small moves and take profit. Only to find the end of the day it moved 5 times the distance where you took your profit! You got to immediately adjust to the new speed. All signs are that tomorrow will be one of these days
