BAYER (BAYN) The 40 bn dollars bid for Monsanto, if agreed, would be one of the major blockbuster in agrochemical and seeds.
The market share by sales will be 24.6% of the market for the Argichemicals unit, and 30.2% for the Seeds unit, with a synergies of about 1.5 bn euro by 2020. We do not exclude the intervention of BASF to complete the offer and the subsequent division of market share.
