The Healthcare segment manufactures and sells pharmaceutical refining materials, analytical equipment such as columns and devices, pharmaceutical active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. The Trading and other segment sells, transports, and stores chemical products, sells daily necessities, building materials, and recycles resources. The company was founded on October 26, 1915 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
