LRGE maintains a portfolio of about 30 US large-cap growth stocks with sustainable competitive advantages, strong financial health, capable management teams, and market leadership positions. The subadviser defined growth companies by higher-than-market earnings per share and sales growth, assessed using historical data and forward-looking estimates. Stock selection is based on fundamental analysis that assesses business models, industry dynamics, and macroeconomic trends. Key factors include discounted cash flow, scenario analysis, market-implied growth and returns, and peer comparisons. Positions are sold when fundamentals decline and/or for better opportunities. On June 14, 2024, sibling fund ClearBridge All Cap Growth ESG ETF (CACG) was fully reorganized into the ETF. Effective August 1, 2025, the fund discontinued its ESG strategy and removed ESG from its name.
