KLAC Long PositionKLA Corporation (KLAC) has had promising earnings reports for the past two years and is trading in a larger uptrend for the past years. The stock recently had a small pullback but price action on smaller timeframes indicate the end of this pullback and the continuation of the larger uptrend. Therefore, this seems to be a reasonable moment to enter the trade. Furthermore, multiple US banks are targeting a share price of (little) over $800.
I would enter this trade around the current share price of $650, target a share price of $797 and put a stop loss at $610.
KLA Corp: A Long-Awaited Pullback I’ve been waiting for years to see KLA Corp pull back, and the opportunity has finally arrived. From a numbers standpoint, this company has an incredible track record—they haven’t missed earnings as far back as I can find, making it one of the strongest performers in its space.
The recent hit across the semiconductor sector seems to stem from a dip in margins. KLA’s margins, which were in the 30% range, have slipped into the high 20s%, and the market was clearly expecting explosive growth to continue.
With the stock now over 25% off its highs, this looks like a great entry point.
I’m in at $660.

790 area seems key The indicators continue to go down for this reset. I see the 20/50 combo at the upper 700s; then I see that the retest is still ongoing and could take another 6-7% before seeing some life of retreat.
I have revisted this ideaIt has followed the pattern and the trend direction several times. At this point, it is channeling its way up and may be in a position to create H&S before rushing down some more; however, if history repeats, it can continue to decline until it finds firm support, which we are seeing at 787.
The Stock's Appreciation ContinuesDuring the appreciation leg, KLAC formed a small pivot whose subsequent candles did not violate the support of the Fiboclouds, which aligned and compacted in the H4, D, and W timeframes.
This movement suggests a breakout towards the intermediate target. If this projection materializes in practice, and a partial realization occurs at the first target, the stop loss should be moved from its initial position to the same line where the position was entered.
This way, the journey towards the final target will proceed with reduced risk of losses and the preservation of the partial gains achieved so far.
Remember that, ideally, only a daily close above 786 activates the entry to a 'buy' position.

$KLAC Pennant Pattern / VCPKLA Reported earnings On Jan 26 and beat estimates by $0.30 and guided revenues higher. They did guide earnings lower than expected. As a result the stock has moved around quite a bit since then. But now it looks to me that we have both a Pennant Pattern and a VCP pattern. Of course, it can break either way. I’ll be looking to go long if it can break above the pennant.
