The Functional Materials-Related Business segment manufactures and sells functional materials such as aluminum substrates for magnetic disks, optical functional films, frits, pigments, and gel coats. The Real Estate-Related Business segment mainly rents out office buildings and commercial facilities. The company was founded on June 25, 1917 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
