SPY So here goes. Since being on here I've heard from many about MM's keeping price at a certain level to burn Theta so they save money and we don't make money. I've come to realize I think I don't believe that, at least entirely. I realized when thinking about that, that someone somewhere is going to buy that same Call or Put at the same strike and DTE that same day or the next and so on, always having that same option at that strike and days out, always being on the tape. Constantly rotating out. Over and over and over again. So now I'm wondering where to go with this. I want to understand more on how this works and the AI man on my computer I can only take in small pieces at a time. Am I overthinking it and its as simple as supply and demand? So If I'm right, yet MM's do manipulate at some level, what is it. If I can understand that, maybe it can be a building block for me to become a more profitable trader. I in advance appreciate any ideas or notions you all may have, if your willing. Thx and have a good evening.
SPY Early adopters and investors of virtually every technological innovation end up getting burned. It’s impossible to predict how things will evolve this early in AI, but splurging on data centers and increasing electrical capacity will make many firms vulnerable to inevitable progress in efficiency. For that reason, I think the Nividia/OpenAI deal could end up being a bust. DeepSeek already showed more efficient models are possible.
