Continue your last replay seamlessly

Oct 6

Bar Replay is one of the most powerful tools for testing ideas, experimenting with strategies, and exploring market behavior in a real-time simulation. And now, it’s even more powerful: Bar Replay now supports session restore.

That means you can pause your analysis at any point — and return later to pick up exactly where you left off.

How it works

When you exit Bar Replay, your session is automatically saved, and the next time you open it, you’ll see a pop-up window with two options:

  • Continue — resume your session from the same point with the same settings.
  • Start new — begin a fresh session by selecting your starting point as usual.

Your Replay session preserves:

  • Symbols and intervals on your charts
  • The time of the last viewed bar
  • The Replay state

Note: chart type and style settings are not saved.

Supported chart types

Session restore is available only for chart types that support Bar Replay.

  • If you’re using a multi-chart layout, replay will be restored only on the corresponding charts.
  • Charts that don’t support Replay won’t load a saved session.
  • If none of your charts support Replay, the option to continue the session won’t appear.

Why does it all matter? With this update, your last Replay session is always within reach. Whether you take a break, close your browser, or switch to other tasks — your work is preserved. So when you come back, everything is ready for you to continue your analysis without missing a beat.

Experience the new Bar Replay with session restore — analyze, experiment, and learn with complete continuity. And keep sharing your feedback, it helps us make the platform better.
