We’re continuously improving our charts to help make your analysis smooth and effective, and based on your feedback, we’ve added two new display options for the Volume Footprint chart: Profile mode and Ladder type.
In Profile mode, the width of each cell is proportional to the trading volume at that level, offering a clearer, more dynamic representation. This mode is available for all Volume Footprint chart types.
Enabling Profile mode is pretty simple: open chart settings, go to the Symbol tab and select Profile in the Display dropdown menu.
The new Ladder type is similar to the Buy & Sell type, but with a key difference: only the highest-volume cell at each level is colored. This makes it easier to highlight the most significant price levels.
You can enable Ladder in the same chart settings window: navigate to the Symbol tab and set the type to Ladder.
