Even more seamless order design — directly on chart

Sep 24, 2024

Being able to seize the moment right when you need it is critical in the fast-moving trading world. That is why we are constantly improving the trading functionality on our platform so that you never miss a single opportunity. This time, we’ve worked on designing orders before they’re sent to the broker — all to make this process as effortless as possible for you. You can now design orders directly from the chart without switching to the order ticket. Here’s what you can do with the latest update.

  • Select the future order’s price by dragging it on the chart
  • Set the quantity of the future order
  • Change the order type. For example, change the stop order to a limit order
  • Create stop-loss and take-profit orders.

The newest functions are already available on the platform. You can start placing an order through the order ticket or the chart’s context menu, and the new order will immediately appear on the chart. Remember to turn off the Place orders without confirmation mode in the chart settings.

Once you’ve finished setting the order parameters, you can confirm order placement using the Buy/Sell buttons or pressing the Enter key — without ever switching away.

If you cannot change some parameters of your order on the chart, such as the validity time, you can always do this through the order ticket. When placing a future order, the chart and order ticket data are synchronized. You can read more on the new feature in our Help Center.

We hope these improvements will help you place orders more efficiently and execute your trading strategies. Please keep sending us your feedback and suggestions. They help us improve the platform.
