$ASTER (hour): a text-book BAT harmonic pattern, on my watch

116
Well that was a good call to skip the GOLDEN POCKET on AASTER yesterday, roughly a 25% crash since the post.

I had a TRIGGER order at $1.01, the price bounced off of $1.02. Unlucky.

I'm still interested in an entry due to this beautiful BAT harmonic pattern which just popped up today.

These are pretty reliable as reversal patterns, but ONLY IF other technical events are confirming: a volume spike (detected now), oversold RSI (that's what we have, RSI at 14), and I would also add that the fib 0.786 ($1) is being respected in terms of retracements potential depths.

With BAT patterns, the text-book way to trade them is to open a position at the bottom of the right 'bat-wing', so immediately around $1 and set stop loss roughly 2% below the left 'bat-wing' ($0.93-$0.95).

I missed the perfect BAT entry by a cent. Not going to chase this, but closely watching the price-action for other entries, they are other ways to leverage this pattern if confirmed. The bat gets confirmed mainly by increasing volumes and strong green candle closes.
