MCD BreakoutMCD breaking out of both patterns, a stop order can be placed few cents above yesterday's high. All indicators are positive for this one and we recently have 50MA crossing above 150MA.

As symmetrical triangles can also indicate reversals, it is important to maintain a watchful eye for a breakout. Buy or short upon breakout in either direction. Until a breakout occurs I am on the sideline.
McDonalds dilemmaThe 99% of the global population love McDonald's burgers, but that's not my concern. Basically, this company has been working aggressively on several initiatives to shed its image of an unhealthy, junk food but in fact, it is... and if they want to improve margins and consequently, earnings... is very hard to get it in the short term. Over here you will find a massive divergence because Wall Street and I have different targets. Wall Street points to $183 a share and I am pointing to $146 - $139.

MCD -- Burger time didn't pan out!I previously thought that we would have a quick squeeze to the 170 levels in MCD. However, the market has proven me wrong, and I have chosen to listen.
Given that it didn't follow the imminent bullish setup which was there to take, MCD has presented itself as "not ready for primetime". So I think we are still in the correction and I think we visit the green box sometime in the Sep-Oct timeframe. I will be going long there.
