E-mini S&P 500 Futures (Mar 2027) forum

The price is hanging around 6589.75, rotating around a local point of control (POC) in the 6589-6590 range, where there's a noticeable thick bulge in the volume profile. There are some hefty sell orders stacked between 6593 and 6596, with a significant wall around 6600 shown by bright yellow and red bands. We've seen some aggressive selling there, but the passive sellers are doing a good job of absorbing it.
On the buy side, there are layered bids just below at 6586 to 6585, with stronger liquidity around the 6577 to 6575 mark indicated by a bright band. The order book looks thinner overall (down by 4%), suggesting that if one side decides to pull back, we could see a quick price movement. The net prints are showing a lot of back-and-forth action without any clear breakout yet.
What does this mean? Right now, we're in a balance or a rotation phase until we hit one of two scenarios:
If we break through the 6596.5 to 6597 zone and those offers get withdrawn or consumed, it could pull us toward the 6600 to 6603 range.
On the flip side, if we fail and rotate downward, we could test the 6586 to 6585 levels. If those give way, we might be looking at a vacuum targeting the liquidity at 6581 down to 6577.
