Hyundai opens the final door to the Advent calendar
Renewable energy company Advent Technologies is joining the Hyundai car club, and investors take the stock on the ride of its life.- Shares catapulted nearly 80% on Wednesday for its best day ever after announcing a distribution deal with Hyundai Motors – though the stock is still down nearly 75% in the last year.
- Advent will help Hyundai fulfill its fuel cell tech needs, which basically means that it will help the car brand explore greener alternatives to its high carbon applications, and it’ll likely involve a few joint projects.
- Green is the new black these days. Hyundai joins a long list of traditional brands that are investigating the best way to make the change to the renewable side of life, and this deal gives Advent the chance to test out its potentially ground-breaking tech on a high-profile company.
