I decided to lock up some of my unused dot tokens in the fixed savings product just to see if the yield is actually paid out daily like they claim. The interest does show up exactly at the same time every morning which makes tracking my passive income incredibly easy. But when I tried to look for the early redemption terms the text was buried so deep in a popup window that I almost missed the penalty fee warning. It is a solid way to grow a portfolio if you are patient but you really have to hunt for the fine print first.
Setting up the custom coin alerts is probably the only reason I caught the big altcoin pump yesterday before I woke up properly. You can customize the exact sound it makes on your phone so you know it is important and not just a random email. Unfortunately they also use the exact same push notification channel to send me daily reminders about trading competitions that I have zero interest in joining. If they just separated the price alerts from the marketing spam it would be completely perfect.
The execution engine on the derivatives side handles heavy market orders without any noticeable lag even when bitcoin is moving a thousand dollars a minute. I really rely on that speed for my scalp trades because getting filled late completely ruins my risk ratio. However the mobile app itself gets incredibly hot if I leave the real time order book open for more than thirty minutes straight. It is a beast for actual trading but they seriously need to optimize how much memory it drains from my phone.
Lost my old phone last weekend and getting my google authenticator unlinked from my account was easily one of the most stressful experiences ever. I submitted the manual video appeal and then heard absolutely nothing back for almost two full days which had me panicking that my funds were locked forever. Suddenly an agent emailed me asking for one more document and then cleared it immediately after I sent it. They definitely came through in the end but the radio silence during the waiting period is pure torture.
Checking out the top earners on the leaderboard is honestly a guilty pleasure of mine just to see what crazy leverage people are using. It is pretty cool that you can click on their profiles and see their exact win rate and current open positions. Half the time though the profile picture takes forever to load and the page gets stuck buffering if my wifi drops for even a second. It is a fun little feature to browse while I am bored but the social page definitely needs some optimization.
I needed to grab some eth quickly to pay for a mint and decided to just use my mastercard directly through their buy crypto button. The whole checkout process was actually super seamless and the coins hit my spot account in under five minutes without triggering any bank fraud alerts. Obviously the third party merchant takes a pretty noticeable chunk in fees compared to a regular bank wire so it stings a little bit. Definitely a solid option if you are in a rush and willing to pay the premium for speed.
Had a complete nightmare on a p2p transaction yesterday when the seller refused to release the coins after I sent the bank transfer. I hit the appeal button and had to upload all my bank receipts and wait for the customer service team to step in. They ended up freezing the guys account and forcing the crypto to my wallet after reviewing the evidence which was a huge relief. The process took almost three hours though which completely ruined my trading mood for the day but at least their dispute team actually does their job.
