user friendly and amazing
Other than being extremely slow to load the trade windows, frequently having maintenance when I want to use it, and disconnecting me countless times each day (even though I have no other IB session active in any other tab or device), it kinda works, I guess.

The software is very buggy. I never lets me login cuz it think some other computer (where I logged in a week ago) is still connected. Even the the week-ago computer has been powered off for a week. There is no way to force a "reset" on the connection to either LIVE or PAPER trading from the client to your server. Seriously flawed software. -Robert Britt

IBKR offers a lot to clients. But, when it comes to their integration with TradingView their connection leaves much to be desired. Compared to TradeStation, their fills on futures trades are slow to execute, sometimes with seconds of lag (using a hard-wired fiber optic 1gig internet, running M2 Max Macbook), PL on the charts also lags, you can't drag stop losses and profit targets like you can with many other brokers to estimate PL at certain levels and you cant easily enter stop break-even orders without going through a series of steps which for a scalp trader takes far too long. I'd look elsewhere for a futures broker if you are a scalper. It's also irritating that you can't be logged into more than one instance of their TradingView integration at a time. I can't log into IBKR on my phone through TradingView and on my computer simultaneously, and this has caused order execution problems in the past. However, they stand head and shoulders above other brokers if you want versatility and a wide variety of products you can trade. I'd give them a higher rating if their TradingView integration was smoother.
