Most stable platform available to retail traders
Just started my account. So far with my iMac and Trading View my Interactive Broker account has lost connection to my Trading View account twice. No prob to sign back in until I need a quick trade then that 3 mins could be a problem. We'll see if it continues.

Good broker
Works great with TradingView. Any issues I have noticed have been promptly dealt with by each side.
Charting is very bad
We are sorry to learn that your experience was unsatisfactory. We are constantly improving and updating our platforms. The Advanced Chart contains whatever features TradingView has made available in their charting library that IBKR has licensed. As TradingView releases new versions of its library, we update our version to their latest version to ensure we get bug fixes and various item they add (in the charting library – but not necessarily their main platform). Using exchanged traded broker (IB) is much better than CFD like PepperSxxxx with uncommited spread
I like the many types of orders
Bracket orders not available for open positions and DOM - Order Flow not supported, they need to fix this ASAP!
We are sorry to learn that your experience was unsatisfactory. When initiating a new position, you can attach a stop loss and profit order within the initial order. But if that initial order has already executed then there is a limitation with TradingView that they currently addressing. This is not an issue if you use IBKR’s trading platforms as you can submit bracket orders at any time. As of March 2, 2023, TradingView now offers Level 2 data. Would love to be able to add bracket orders to open positions etc
