I have been a TradeStation customer for many years and found TradingView when attempting to find a company to chart cryptos.
Each offer unique products. I love being able to use all my custom indicators on TradeStation, which I use with a second login. I love the charts and drawing tools of TradingView, the combination of the two, and executing trades directly from TradingView is awesome.
stock screen occasionally doesn't give the correct update compare to other stock screener. Wish there is a way to incorperate historical stock screening into back testing. Also wish there is a way to setup time base trading strategy (only trade with 9-10am of specific day of week) without using 3rd party api.
But over all it's a pretty nice algorithmic trading platform compare to its competitors.
Have used a number of trading platform and Tradestation is one of the best. Competitive commissions and excellent support.
Got overcharged for commissions and charged for data I didn't use nor sign up for. I called in and they gave me credit for everything, but if it wasn't for me reading through every statement I wouldn't have ever caught it. To make up for their mistakes I was offered $25 only after asking. I'll be looking for another broker now.
TradeStation has been awesome. No fees for Active, retired or veterans and first responders.

Commission free for veterans is great, however, I have alot of problems with their iOS app. Trading options is almost impossible on it because the strikes get misaligned while scrolling. Also, for some reason they limits trades on IRA accounts to 5 per day, despite the fact that they are not day trades.
TradeStation often locks up on its platform and is constantly disconnecting from TradingView. And no I am not trying to open more than one session. With their platform the more the market volume, the more and harder it locks up and yes I continuously delete the cache and stop tasks. Even connecting with TradingView now I am constantly getting disconnected. Sometimes several times an hour. I have easily lost $2000 of my smaller account over the last year due to not being able to get out of a trade and just watching price drop past my stop which forces me to use my phone to close the trade. It has been over a week now and I still don't have an answer from support as to why TS keeps disconnecting. Use caution with this one.
TradeStation is great. There is a learning curve but you can customize everything.
This is an amazing platform. so far the best i'd used.
Have used TradeStation for many years and it's great to now also have the option to trade through the TradingView platform.
