Transports have been leading to the downside for the last three weeks. Economic activity did not seem strong enough to warrant a rate rise from the Fed. Too early to say if this will lead to a long term reversal.

This is an update to my post last month on the DJTA. The DJTA needed to move above 8149 to confirm a Double Zigzag pattern up from the January 2016 bottom. Nice recovery at the end of today's session, the medium term support area around 1820 remains intact on SPX. DJ transportation has almost closed positive today despite the overall market drop. I'm looking at XLI as a possible buy on a short term basis.
