Microsoft had agreed to acquire Activision Blizzard ATVI in a cash deal valued at $68.7 billion, equal to $95 per share.
Activision Blizzard owns some of the most popular gaming franchises globally: World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and Candy Crush.
So there is a 17% upside arbitrage here, if the deal does close.
Might be the fact that I also spend some money for my gaming, or that it is my son's favorite stock.
