Sector Update: Health Care

Health care stocks were retreating Thursday afternoon, with the NYSE Health Care Index decreasing 0.6% and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) down 0.7%.

The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) fell 1.8%.

In corporate news, Bristol-Myers Squibb BMY shares plunged almost 9% following its Q1 results.
