Vietnam Jan-Nov coffee exports up 10.2% y/y at 1.5 mln tonnes -statistics office

Coffee exports from Vietnam are estimated to have increased 10.2% in the first 11 months of this year from a year earlier to 1.5 million tonnes, equal to 25.6 million 60-kg (130-pound) bags, the General Statistics Office said on Tuesday.

Coffee export revenue for Vietnam, the world's biggest producer of the robusta bean, rose 31.5% to $3.5 billion in the January-November period, the agency said.

The country's coffee shipments in November are estimated at 110,000 tonnes, valued at $267 million.
