Swedish c.bank's Ohlsson says will defend inflation target

Sweden's central bank is determined to bring inflation down to its 2% target, deputy governor Henry Ohlsson said on Thursday.

"We will defend the inflation target, that is certain," Ohlsson said during a speech. "But at the same time there are ... a lot of signs that inflation is on the way down and that is a positive sign."

The Riksbank hiked the policy rate by a full percentage point to 1.75% on Wednesday and warned more tightening was on the way.
