NZX Rises 0.8% at Finish

The ANZ 50 climbed 87.04 points or 0.77% to close at 11,395.35 on Tuesday, reversing from losses the day before, lifted by a rise in US stock futures ahead of remarks from US Fed Chief Powell later in the day and key US jobs data for November this week.

Traders were also upbeat amid growing hopes that Beijing will further relax its COVID zero policy after weekend protests.

Meantime, a Chinese regulator reportedly lifted a multi-year ban on share sales by builders aimed at supporting the "stable and healthy" development of the sector.

Fisher & Paykel climbed 10.1%, Infratil Ltd jumped 2.2%, while Summerset Group and Manawa Energy each added 1.6%.

Arvida Group surged 4.2% after reporting solid growth in revenue and margins for the six months ended September from a year ago.
