NZ Stocks Fall for Second Day

New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index dipped 0.18%, or 21.15 points, to close at 12010.67 on Wednesday, falling for a second straight session.

Hefty losses in producer manufacturing sector weighed on the market.

Poor-performing stocks included Fonterra (-5.3%), Skellerup Hldgs. (-4.3%), Toursim Hldgs. (-3.5%), and Vector Limited (-2.6%).

Also, index heavyweights Mercury NZ and Ebos Group declined 1.3% each.

Meanwhile, gains were led by Restaurant Brands NZ (9.7%), Manawa Energy (3.6%), Genesis Energy (2.5%), and Comvita (2%).
