CAC 40 Closes Week at Record High

The CAC 40 loosely extended its record high to close at 8,205 on Thursday, the last trading day of the week, marking the third consecutive session of gains ahead of the domestic inflation rate and US PCE releases tomorrow.

Notable gains from LVMH (0.63%), TotalEnergies (0.76%), BNP Paribas (1.82%), and Credit Agricole (1.75%).

Additionally, Legrand rose by 1.88%, among top performers, following an upgrade in rating by Morgan Stanley to “overweight”.

For the week, the CAC 40 recorded a 0.66% increase, while posting an 8.78% surge in the first quarter of the year.

The index will resume trading on April 2nd.
