Asian Markets Track Wall Street Higher

Asian equity markets mostly rose on Tuesday, extending gains from the previous session and taking cues from a strong lead on Wall Street as worries over a wider Middle East conflict eased.

Investors also cheered solid PMI figures from Australia and Japan for April, while awaiting Indian PMI numbers later in the day.

Shares in Australia, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong advanced.

Meanwhile, Chinese stocks declined for the second straight session.
