Nippon Carbon Co., Ltd. engages in the manufacture and sale of carbon products. It operates through the following segments: Carbon Products, Silicon Carbide Products, and Others. The Carbon Products segment covers artificial graphite electrode, impervious graphite products, isotropic high purity graphite products, machine for graphite products, general purpose carbon fibers and graphite fibers, resin graphite fibers made of packing, flexible graphite sealing material, and node material for lithium ion battery. The Silicon Carbide Products includes the development and sale of ceramic matrix composite. The Others deal with the manufacturing industrial machinery, mechanical repair, building and parking leasing business. The company was founded on December 20, 1915 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
