Nippon Television Holdings Inc. engages in the management and operation of group companies that are in the general broadcasting business. It also handles planning, production, and sales of broadcasting programs; and cultural activities. It operates in the following business segments: Media and Content Business, Life and Health-Related, Real Estate-related, and Others. The Media and Content Business segment includes television broadcasting; program sales from commercialization and sale of package media, and from exhibiting movies; and events. The Life and Health-related segment runs general fitness clubs. The Real Estate-related segment leases owned real estate and manages buildings. The Others segment includes information technology (IT) services and store management. The company was founded by Matsutaro Shoriki on October 15, 1952 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
