Toagosei Co., Ltd. engages in the manufacture and sale of chemical and industrial products. It operates through the following segments: Commodity Chemicals, Polymer & Oligomer, Adhesive Material, Performance Chemicals, Plastics, and Others. The Commodity Chemicals segment supplies products used in a wide range of industries including caustic soda, sulfuric acid, industrial gases, and inorganic high-purity chemicals. The Polymer & Oligomer segment provides acrylic acid, acrylic ester, acrylic polymer, polymer flocculants, and UV-Curable Resins. TheAdhesive Material segment includes functional adhesives, amenity care materials, and electronic products. The Plastics segment provides piping equipment, nursing care products, elastomeric compounds, and products for use in environmental preservation systems. The Others segment includes facility construction and repair business, transportation business, research and development of new products, and trading business. The company was founded by Momosuke Fukuzawa in 1933 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
