XTLH aims to provide broad exposure to a portfolio of long-term US Treasury bonds, while employing a currency hedging strategy with respect to the USD currency. It exclusively holds investment-grade securities that have more than 20 years until maturity, and are denominated in US dollars. The index is market value-weighted and is usually rebalanced monthly. The Manager may opt to use a replicating strategy, a sampling strategy, or hold derivatives to maximize returns. XTLH is a great choice for investors who wants to invest in long-term Treasurys while hedging any resulting USD currency exposure back to the CAD. The fund is also offered as USD units and as CAD units.
