In a near bottomless downtrend, it's time to assess Bitcoin as a functional asset.
What is going to drive new volume into this currency? There are few advantages over others, and a lot of negatives:
-mysterious creation/creator
-public ledger
-nearly 30% of mining done by Bitmain (that is NOT "decentralized")
-Bitmain has near monopoly of ASIC miners
-Bitmain CEO open to "state cryptocurrency"
-No leadership to adapt to evolving technology (see: forks)
-No leadership on scalability
-No team creating partnerships, marketing, fighting disinformation
-Attracted market makers from the enemy of p2p crypto
-FUTURES
There are three investors left: HODLERS who are shaken out by the day, day traders, and pump and dumpers. If it just keeps down-trending, and there's no logical reason to invest in it other than hoping for another "moon," SELL your BTC and put it into an asset that actually has a future. People hate on BCH, but at least they have a vision. LTC and XMR are far better as functional currencies. If you're not a "whale," you should be betting on the future, not this rudderless ship.
